Samuel Allen was probably born ca. 1730. By 1773 he was in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He married Sarah Prater in 1783 in Henry County, Virginia. They later moved to Floyd County, Kentucky. Descendants lived in Kentucky and elsewhere.

James Patton (ca. 1752-ca. 1817) was born in Augusta County, Virginia, son of Henry Patton Sr. He married Florence Graham in 1773 in Botetourt County, Virginia. They lived in Montgomery County and later moved to Kentucky. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Oklahoma, and elsewhere.

Abraham Lakin was born before 1696 probably in Maryland. He married Martha Lee 10 October 1717 in St. Barnabas Church in Queen Anne Parish, Prince George's County, Maryland. He died before 28 August 1745. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maryland, Massachusetts, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska.

John Thompson was born 23 April 1783. He married Eleanor Hutchison 28 May 1820 in Cabell County, Virginia. He died 14 May 1854 in Lawrence County, Kentucky. They had two sons, Granville (1821-1896) and David (1823-1861). Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.

John Patton was born in about 1690, probably in County Derry, Ireland. He married Miss (Sarah?) Rodgers in Ireland and they emigrated in about 1730. They had eight known children. They settled first in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and later moved to Augusta County, Virginia. He married Agnes Snodgrass in about 1754 and had two known children. He died in about 1757. George Patton may have been born in Scotland. He immigrated to America before the American Revolution. He served in the military for seven years. He married a Miss Hughes. They had at least two, sons, George and Charles. Charles was born in about 1775. He married Ann McCoy in about 1795 in Hagerstown, Maryland. They had twelve known children.
