Robert Hairston (1778-1831) married first Sarah Lang and later, Ann Sargen. Descendants lived in Washington County, Texas and Alabama.

Walter A. Louis (1887-1963), son of Daniel Louis (1858-1895) and Francis Jane Mobley (1862-1948) was born in Bastrop County, Texas and died in Milam County, Texas. He married Zelda Sarah Blackmon, born in Milam County, Texas, daughter of Joe J. Blackmon (1869-1938) and Ollie Smith.
