Andrew A. Rowberg started this file in 1914 by clipping articles from Norwegian-American newspapers. The articles pertained to Norwegian Americans and were obituaries, wedding and birth announcements, wedding anniversaries, feature stories, promotions, honors, Norway visits, and other events. Some articles date before 1914, but not enough to be added in the title dates.
Short articles are mounted on cards, while longer articles are mounted in scrapbooks....

Description
An association was formed in 1925 in St. Paul, Minnesota, to organize and supervise the centennial celebrations of the arrival of the first group of Norwegian immigrants in America. It is believed the name of that association was the Norse-American Centennial Association which may be the original name or part of the Norwegian-American Historical Association.
