Alois (Louis) Artinger (1856-1910), born in Austria of German lineage, married Mary Czwikl in 1883. Alois immigrated to the area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1898, and returned to bring his family in 1901. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida and elsewhere. Includes Artinger and Czwikl (Zwickl, Zwickle) ancestry in Austria.

Albert Herman Ardinger (1902-1934), son of Austrian immigrants Alois Ardinger and Mary Czwikl (Zwickle), was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, and married Anna Altazera Markle in 1919 at Wellsburg, West Virginia. They lived in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Descendants through 1982 lived in Pennsylvania, Texas and elsewhere.

Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of John Leininger who was born ca. 1831 in Germany. He married Katherine Stephand ca. 1852. They lived in Munchweiler, Germany and were the parents of four sons and three daughters. She married William George Barr in 1921, and William Ernest Luther in 1928, and lived at Homestead, Pennsylvania.
