"Richard Burton, born 22 Dec. 1826, County Kent, England, immigrated to the United States in 1850. He first settled in Oneida County, N.Y., where he married Mary Elizabeth Hughes. The couple moved to Eaton, N.Y., where Richard died in 1919".
