Arie Fransen (later Arie Fransen Langet) was probably born in the Netherlands and later immigrated to New York where he served in the New York Militia. His wife was Rachel Jans whom he married between 1679-1680. Arie was naturalized in Ulster County, New York 1 September 1687. He died between 1696-1698. Description
Nicolaus Vieillard was born about 1635 probably in the vicinity of Sedan, France. He moved, as a Hugenot, to Otterberg in the German Palatinate (Pfalz) and later to the nearby village of Erlenbach. He married Katherine Grosjean, also of Sedan, France. They had seven known children. Descendants lived mainly in Germany, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.
