Stephen Clason (b.ca1625) in Scotland and died in 1699 at Stamford, Conn. He married Elizabeth Perriment (1631-1714) at Stamford. Family tradition infers that he and his brother left Scotland for France. Later, the brother returned to Scotland and Stephen came to America. The Clason's raised several children. Eli Edwards (ca. 1762-1850) and his wife, Hannah Wilsey (ca. 1767-1853), were both born in Connecticut. They may have been married in 1786 at Pownal, Vermont. They had twelve children.
