William Dewine Ream (1859-1939) was the son of Sampson Mitchell Ream (1833-1902) and Nancy Murphin (1839-1909). He was likely born in or near Chariton Township, Iowa. He married Nora Ellen Crockett (1862-1945), daughter of Alvin Crockett and Mary Sophia Reed, In Logan, Utah. She was born in Logan, Utah. They had ten children.
