William Mayo (1684-1744), son of Joseph Mayo and Elizabeth Hooper, immigrated from England to Barbados, West Indies in 1717, and later immigrated to Goochland County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, New Jersey, Kentucky and elsewhere.

Andreas von Albade, of Finnish or Swedish lineage, headed the House of Galitzen in the settlement of Albade in the Dutchy of Deux Ponts or Zweibrücken in the lower Palatinate of Germany. His second son, Joachem von Albade, went to England or Scotland, married a Miss E. Jansen (also of Scandinavian lineage), and immigrated to New York.
