Description
Nicholas Dickson was born ca. 1730 in Ireland and married Margaret Dickson ca. 1758 in Ireland. He died before 1786 in South Carolina and she died after 1824 in South Carolina. Samuel Dunkin, Sr. (1722-1770) was born near Dundee, Scotland and married Sarah Ann (1724-1795) in 1742. Both died in Bush River, Newberry, South Carolina. Descendants of both families lived in South Carolina, Mississippi, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, Kansas, and elsewhere....

Samuel Jackson Sr. was a Quaker descendant of Ralph Jackson, who was burned at the stake as a martyr in 1556 at Stratford, England. Samuel Sr. was born in Ireland, and immigrated to North Carolina. Samuel Jackson Jr. and his brothers, Jacob and John, all Quakers, moved from North Carolina to Rocky Fork, Ohio as early as 1801. Thomas Paul Beeler (1895-1988) was born at Durango, Colorado, the son of William (Johannes Krum H.) Beeler (1862-1905) and Florence Cordelis Lewis Beeler (1866-1941). Rose May Willden (1897-1984) was born at Durango, the daughter of William McEwen Willden (1873-1931) and Laura Jane Bell Willden (1875-1947). They were married at Durango in 1914.
