Johann married Anna Catharina Mermilo ca. 1756 in Germany. They immigrated to America ca. 1763 with four children and settled in Lebanon Co., Pennsylvania. Johann and Anna were the parents of five sons and four daughters. Descendants lived primarily in Pennsylvania.
