The immigrant ancestor, Godfried Mindling (1808-1854), was from Schwaigern, Württenberg, Germany. He came to America in 1847 with his second wife, Christina Setzler (1813-1905), and three of their children. Couple had married 1835 in Schwaigern. Three more sons were born in Washington Co., Ohio, where family had settled to farm. Contains mostly family group records.
