Walter Leslie Berry (1910-1994), son of Walter Fleix Berry (1875-1941) and Rachel Elizabeth Nichols (1885-1966), was born in Fayette, Alabama. He married Effie Ruth Brock (1912-2003), daughter of Thomas Wilson Brock (1879-1938) and Nettie Pearl Allen (1881-1943), in 1930 in Hamilton, Alabama. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, South Carolina and Alabama.
