Chiefly a record of some of the ancestors and descendants of Frederick Kesler. He was born 20 Jan 1816 at Meadville, Pennsylvania. He married Emeline Parker 20 May 1836 in Augusta, Iowa. He and his wife became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in June 1840. They came to the Salt Lake Valley on 1 Oct 1851. John Gillies was born 5 August 1789 in Blairlogie, Perthshire, Scotland. His parents were James Gilies and Marion Marshall. He married Christina Gibb 8 November 1817. They had five children.
