Norman Ingles Bliss was born 19 August 1814 in Hartwick, New York. His parents were Deacon Jesse Bliss and Fanny Tuttle. He married four times and had thirteen children. He died 12 December 1882 in Toquerville, Utah. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada and California.
