Patrick Hamilton (1789-1850) was born in Burnside, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He married Mary Eaton Baskervill (1796-1837) in 1812 in Mecklenburg, Virginia. They had seven children. He died in Burnside, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, New York, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Mississippi.

George Tarry was born 12 June 1748 in Amelia County, Virginia. He married Sarah Taylor 7 December 1790 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. She was born 5 March 1766 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. They had three children. George died in 1816 in Ivy Hill, Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Sarah died between 1824 and 1830 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Decendants lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Kentucky.
