Hirum E. Thompson (1839-1897) was a son of Thomas Thompson and Almira M. Vickery. He served in the Civil War, married twice, and died in Hoogs Corner, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Texas, California and elsewhere. Includes some other Vickery individuals buried in the Thompson private cemetery at Hoogs Corner, New York.

David and Martha Laughlin moved to Olustee, Oklahoma, in 1901 and to Monument, New Mexico, in 1902. They are buried at Roswell, New Mexico. Charles Christopher Sutherland alias Diamond (1900-1956) was a descendant of John Sutherland, who emigrated from England about 1773. They were descendants of William Sutherland, 19th. Earl of Bath and Lady Jean Gordan. Charles married twice; Marie Mills and Dorothy Gertrude Chambers Huie. Descendants lived in Nevada, California and Oklahoma.

In 1871, he married Ester A. Johnson, who was born in 1846 in Newton, Co. Mississippi. Descendants lived also in Florida, Louisiana and elsewhere.
