Thomas Lloyd was born in about 1715 in Brunswick County, Virginia. He was the son of Thomas Lloyd. He married Tabitha in about 1736. They had seven known children. They moved to Orange County, North Carolina in 1753. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, Illinois and elsewhere.
