William Stephens was baptized 17 March 1798, son of Thomas Stephens and Ann Fisher, married Clarissa Williams 9 December 1819 at St. James Church in Bristol. Clarissa died 9 October 1862. William died 26 August 1879. William and Clarissa had ten children all born in Alveston, England. Several of their sons immigrated to North America. Descendants live in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Michigan, Oklahoma and elsewhere.

Jacob Janse Gardenier was born in about 1618 in Kampen, Overysel, Holland. His parents were Jan Gardinier and Aeltie. He emigrated in 1636 and was apprenticed to a silversmith in Albany, New York. He returned to Holland in 1642 and married Josina. They settled in Albany and had eleven children. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Ontario, Michigan, Ohio, Kansas and elsewhere.

Johnson Lafferty Condon (b.ca.1837) immigrated from Ireland to Wentworth County, Ontario, and married Sarah Halstead Bartrum during or before 1871. Descendants lived in Ontario, Saskatchewan and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Oregon and elsewhere in the United States.

Descendants of John Mitts (b. 1763), possibly son of Henry Mitts. Both settled in Fredricksburgh Twp., Lennox Co., Ontario in 1784. Henry had earlier lived in Williams Borough, Tryon Co., New York Province. John Mitts married Jannetje (Jane) Gordanier of Ernestown Twp. in 1789. She was the daughter of Jacob Gordanier, Loyalist. He married (2) Anna Dust in 1817. Anna had previously been married to Adam Forbes (d. 1815) with whom she had six children....

Thomas Condon (d.1839), possibly an Irish immigrant, served in Pennsylvania and New York with the British Army during the Revolutionary War, settled in St. John, New Brunswick in 1783, and moved to Binbrook, Ontario in 1809/1810. Descendants and relatives lived in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Ontario, Saskatchewan and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Michigan, Wisconsin and elsewhere in the United States.
