Thomas Alexander Watkins (1802-1884) was born in Georgia and studied medicine in Pennsylvania. He began a medical practice in Alabama where he met and married Sarah Epes Fitzgerald. They became the parents of two daughters, Letitia Ann Watkins (1835-1914) and Mary (Mollie) Early Watkins (1844-1935). In 1843 Thomas moved the family from Alabama to Carroll County, Mississippi. Patrick Dimond/Diamond/Dimon immigrated to America from Ireland sometime between 1757 and 1772. He married Sarah Stewart/Stuart and they had six children. Sarah died around Oct 1801 and Patrick died in Dec 1790 in Guilford County, North Carolina. Their children and descendants have lived in North Carolia, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, and other areas throughout the United States.
