Edward Manion (b.ca.1708), probably of Irish or Scotch-Irish lineage, was born in Orange County, Virginia, and married Jean Jones in 1733. Between 1740 and 1742, they moved to Bedford County, Virginia. He was still alive (and sold some land) in 1763. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, California and elsewhere.

John Prewitt and family moved from Pittsylvania County, Virginia, to Abbeville District, South Carolina, after the Revolutionary War. After the War of 1812, five of his sons migrated to Indiana.

Description
Frederick Royse (ca. 1750-1825) was a private during the Revolutionary War with the Bedford County, Pennsylvania, Militia. He married Sarah DeWitt in Hampshire County, Virginia, ca. 1778. The had at least ten children. They migrated to the vicinity of Bardstown, Kentucky, sometime before 1785 and to Indiana territory in 1799. He was living in Washington, Indiana, when he wrote his will in 1825. Descendants lived in Indiana and elsewhere.
