John Armstrong Sr. (ca.1729-1810) married Ann Stewart or Stuart before 1769, probably in South Carolina, and died in Randolph (now Jasper) County, Georgia. John Armstrong Jr. (ca.1769-1844) married Nancy Kittle before 1800, probably in Georgia, and moved before 1822 to Montgomery County, Alabama. Descendants and relatives lived in Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi and elsewhere.
