Josephine C. Frost

William Haviland was born in 1606 in Salisbury, England, and probably immigrated about 1641. He died after 1688.

William Frost (d.1719) was born before 1635 (in England or New England) and was in Southold, Long Island, New York as early as 1655. He married twice, and moved to Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. Descendants lived throughout the United States.

Nathaniel Ring (d.1714) immigrated with his cousin Thomas Jennings from England to Birmingham, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania during or before 1701. Daniel L'Estrange of Orleans, France there married Charlotte LeMeste (the surname was anglicized to Streing, Strang, Strain). As Huguenot refugees, they immigrated in 1688 to New Rochelle and later Rye, New York. He died about 1710.
