David Carlile (1780-1860) was a native of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. He came to Newton Township in Trumbull County, Ohio in 1806. His second wife was Ann Davison (1784-1856). Both died in Newton Township. Ann was the daughter of Benjamin Davison of Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere.
