John Kirk (1774-1841) married Tabitha Lukens (1789-1882) in 1807. He was a farmer and limeburner in Abington Twp., Montgomery Co., Pa. The immigrant ancestor, John Kirk (1660-1705), was born at Alfreton, Derbyshire, England. He immigrated to Darby (now Delaware Twp.), Philadelphia, Pa. in 1687. Descendants live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, California, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Texas, Florida, Arizona and elsewhere.
