Martin Keller (1806-1883)--son of George Michael and Anna Keller-- served in the French army during the 1820s, married Magdalena Becker, and emigrated from the province of Alsace in France (via Le Havre) to Seneca County, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Colorado, Arizona, Iowa, Missouri, Idaho, Montana and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry in Alsace.

Martin Keller was born 11 November 1806 in Wintzenbach, France. His parents were George Michael Keller (1766-1827) and Anna Marie Schaeffer (1771-1826). He married Magdalena Becker (1814-1893), daughter of Paul Becker and Eve Marguerite Schall, 17 January 1837 in Kaidenburg, Alsace. They had ten children.
