Description
A genealogy of the Stevens family in Harrison County, Indiana who are descendants of William Stevens (1773-1840), Thomas Stevens (1778- 1844), Benjamin Stevens (1791-1865), and Abraham Stevens (1788-1863). These men could be brothers and the sons of James Stevens born in 1746 in New York and moved to Virginia where he married Rebecca Lawrence in 1769. He moved to Kentucky in 1783 and finally to Harrison County, Indiana where he died in 1822.
