He married Mehitable Gilman, daughter of Joshua Gilman and Tabitha Brown, 22 April 1803 in Williamstown, Vermont. They had seven children. Anton Madlinger was born in Sasbachried, Germany in 1821, the son of Andreas and Maria Anna Zerr Madlinger. Benjamin Depuy, Jr. was born in about 1743 in Rochester Township, Ulster, New York. His father was not Benjamin, Sr., but Jacobus Depuy (1703-1757) and his mother was Sarah Schoonmaker. He married Antje Bruyn 2 October 1770 and they had three children. He married Jannetje Miller in about 1774 and they had five children. He married Catherine Bevier in 1786 and they had eight children. Benjamin died in 1804.
