Amandus S Leiby

Church was organized in 1750's; by 1772-1773 many members moved several miles east and formed another Moore Township church called Salem. The earlier congregation met off and on until 1850 when a union church was formed called Emanuel. It is located one mile east of Petersville.

In its earlier days the church was also known as New Allemangel or the White Church. Friedens is located in Albany Township at Stony Run.
