Description
John Beard and his two sons emigrated from Teignmouth, Devonshire, England, and settled on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, ca. 1710. His grandson, Richard Beard, Jr. was born in 1718 at Nantucket. He married Eunice Macy, daughter of Jabez and Sarah Starbuck Macy, in 1742. They had six children, 1743-1763. The family migrated to New Garden, North Carolina, in 1772. He died in 1803. Description
Mills Eason, son of Joseph Eason of Stokes County, North Carolina, married Bethenia Davis, daughter of James and Margaret Davis in 1804. They had five children. Their sons, Joseph Eason (1805-1876) and James Knox Eason (1809-1851), migrated to Missouri with their families in 1840. Their descendants lived in Missouri, Kansas, and elsewhere.
Includes the Lindenberger, Ricketts and other families.
