Henry Linder was born 12 December 1867 in Brienz, Switzerland. He was the son of Heinrich Linder and Magdalena Maeder. Henry immigrated to America aboard the ship Labrador and arrived at the Port of New York 26 April 1883. He married Lucy Buehler sometime prior to the year 1888. They lived in Kansas and were the parents of six known children. Descendants lived in Kansas, West Virginia, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
