John Loney (1748-1801) was a shoemaker in Johnstown, New York. His wife's name was Catherine (b. ca. 1749). They were married ca. 1767. John was an United Empire Loyalist and they immigrated to Canada ca. 1784 where they settled in "Indian lands, Charlottenburgh, Upper Canada" (later Ontario). Traces their descendants. .

Covers two family lines whose descendants settled in Glengarry County, Ontario (Upper Canada). The MacRae line begins with a Christopher MacRae who married Margaret MacDonald. They had a son Alexander. The first dates given are in the sixth generation with Farquhar MacRae who immigrated to Upper Canada in 1786. He married Catherine (Owna) MacDonald (ca. 1768-ca. 1826). The MacRae line is traced through selected descendants for twelve generations....

The MacMillan family of Glenpean descends from Ferchar og MacMillan, the earliest known descendant of Clan MacMillan. Allan "Glenpean" MacMillan sailed to Ontario, Canada in 1802 from Scotland. His wife was Margaret Cameron. They were the parents of nine children. Descendants live in Canada and other parts of the world.

Asemus Rambach (Rombough) was born in Germany and immigrated to America in 1773. He settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was the father of four children. One of his sons moved to Osnabruck, Ontario during the American revolution with other Loyalists. Descendants live in Canada.

Donald (Miller Roy) MacDougald was born ca. 1785. He married Margaret MacDonald and they immigrated to America and settled in Cornwall Township, Ontario, Canada. Donald died 31 January 1851 and was buried 2 January 1852 in Cornwall. Descendants lived primarily in Ontario, Canada with a few in New York and elsewhere.
