Dedmon (Deadman) Mallicoat was born ca. 1778 in Virginia to John Mallicoat and Elender (?). He died May 8, 1838 at Grainger Co., Tennessee. He married Jan. 29, 1799 Levina Thacker in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. They were the parents of nine children. Descendants have lived in Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Kentucky, Oregon and elsewhere in the United States.

Wesley Lafayett Fann was born 27 July 1867 in Independence, Missouri. He was the oldest child of Isaac Fann and Sarah Ellen Turner. Wesley married Matilda Stephenson 28 August 1887. They lived in Jackson Co., Missouri and reared a family of nine children. Descendants lived primarily in Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota and elsewhere.

David Faulkenberry and his son Jacob moved from Lancaster County, South Carolina to Clarke County, Georgia to participate in the 1805 Georgia land lottery. Thomas J. (or P.) Faulkenberry (1808-1876) was a son of Jacob and grandson of David, born in Georgia. Thomas moved to Rutherford County, Tennessee, and married Martha S. Wright in 1834.
