The name of the church changes through time. "The first section of this book begins with the history of Prosperity United Presbyterian church 1867-1901, followed by the records. Section 2 is the history and records of Tilden United Presbyterian Church 1901-1960; First United Presbyterian Church of Tilden 1960-1985 and Tilden Presbyterian Church 1985-2003"-Introd. The town of Sadowa no longer exists but it was probably in the Tilden area.

Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Robert Hamilton who was born ca. 1771 in Ballymena, Ireland. He married Martha Ross ca. 1791 in County Antrim, Ireland. They immigrated to America aboard the ship "Irish Volunteer" and arrived in Charleston, South Carolina 24 December 1791. Robert and Martha lived in South Carolina and were the parents of eight known children. Descendants lived in South Carilina, Minnesota, Missouri,...
