Richard Neat (1829-1841) married Sarah "Sally" New (1810-1896) about 1831 in England. After his death, she married William Passey, in 1847. In 1857 they immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts and in 1861, to Paris, Idaho. Descendants lived chiefly in the West. They include members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Thomas Shakspeare lived at Balshall, England (1486-1527) and William Shakespeare (1564-1616), the Bard, was his direct descendant in the fourth generation. William's sister, Joan (b.1558), married William Hart (ca.1564-1616) and Hart descendants intermarried with the Ashley family. Descendants include members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England and the United States.
