Tonnies Meyer Cord was born ca. 1623 and resided in Osterhagen (Hagen), Germany. In 1694 he married his second wife Anna Cathrina Klocke, a widow. He had nine children by his first wife whose name is unknown. Four of his second great grandchildren immigrated to America. Descendants lived in Germany, Illinois, Iowa, Washington, California, Texas, and elsewhere.

Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Alexander Miller. He was born in Inchinnan Scotland ca. 1759. He married Jean Allan ca. 1780 in Inchinnan, Scotland. She was baptised 30 Nov 1760 at Inchinnan, Scotland, the daughter of David Allan and Margaret Wilson. The family immigrated to America ca. 1784. They were the parents of fifteen children, two died young.

Alexander McMakin was in Baltimore, Maryland in 1765 and later moved to Loudoun County, Virginia where he died ca. 1817. His son, Benjamine Perrine (1763-1804) and his wife, Mary Carr, moved to Spartanburgh District, South Carolina from Loudoun County in 1783. Descendants lived throughout the southern U.S., Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma, California, Illinois, Nebraska, and elsewhere.

Uziel Twitchell (b. ca. 1824-1862) was born near Elizabethtown, Hardin County, Illinois. He married Sarah Hurford (b. ca. 1823- ca. 1870) and they had five children. Their grandson, Jacob Noah Twitchell (1879-1961) was born in Illinois and married Effie Dorothy Troutman. They moved to Kentucky in 1902 and were the parents of four children. Jacob later moved back to Illinois. Their son, Jacob Paul Twitchell (1909-1971) was born in Paducah, Kentucky....

Robert and Margaret immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1819 and later settled in Ohio. Many of the family later moved to Mercer County, Illinois.
