Roger Williams was christened 15 December 1625 in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. His parents were Shadrach Williams and Ann Pinner. His father's parents were James Williams and Alice Pemberton. Roger married Joan and they emigrated and settled in Rappahannock County, Virginia. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Wales, England and Virginia.

Guy Meek was probably born in England or Wales. He emigrated and settled in Maryland. He married Rachel and they had eight children. He died in about 1682 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Captain William Byers was born in South Carolina in 1735. He married Elizabeth Walton, the daughter of Joseph and Nancy Hughes Walton. Their children included Susan, Elizabeth, Edward, Nancy, Lorena, David and Samuel. William became a captain during the Revolutionary War. Elizabeth and her daughters fled their home during fighting in the Revolutionary War, not returning until after the war ended. William died in Pennsylvania in 1799. Other localities...

Adam Meek was probably born in Ireland before 1726. He immigrated to America and was granted land in Cecil County, Maryland in 1745. He married Jean Mitchell, daughter of Andrew and Jean Mitchell. Adam's widow and three sons migrated to York County, South Carolina prior to 1778. Jean Meek died in 1797.
