Henry Miller, Sr. (b.1872), son of Johannes Miller and Franziska Becker, was orphaned at nine and adopted by an uncle Henry Hofstetter, married Marie Fetzer in 1898; they became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1899, as did the brother of Marie (John) in 1900. Daniel C. Miller was born 3 November 1850. His parents were Christian Miller and Catherine Frey. He married Catherine E. Hershberger (1854-1890), daughter of Emanuel Hershberger and Catherine Yoder, in 1873. They had nine children. He married Susan P. Shrock (1865-1897) in 1891. They had two children. He died in 1895 in Charm, Ohio.

Indian John Miller (ca.1757) was the son of Christian Miller and was wounded and taken captive by Indians in the Hochstetler Massacre of 1757. His son, John Annas Miller (b.1752) married Veronica C. Yoder and they became the parents of nine children. Descendants live in the United States.

Hyrum Oscar Crandall, (b.1844), born in Illinois, was a direct descendant of Sir John Crandall (ca.1609-1676) who immigrated from England to Massachusetts in 1634. Hyrum came to Utah with his family in 1850 where they settled in what is now Springville. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Arizona, and elsewhere.

Jacob J. Coblentz was born 14 February 1835 in Saltillo, Ohio. His parents were Jacob Coblentz (1806-1864) and Rachel Troyer (1809-1891). He married Mary Nisley (1838-1907), daughter of Christian Nisley and Magdalena Yoder, 21 February 1858. They had eight children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany and Ohio.
