Henry Miller

Henry Miller, Sr. (b.1872), son of Johannes Miller and Franziska Becker, was orphaned at nine and adopted by an uncle Henry Hofstetter, married Marie Fetzer in 1898; they became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1899, as did the brother of Marie (John) in 1900. The Fetzer family had already planned to immigrate, and they were joined by the Millers--and immigrated in 1900 to Salt Lake City. Descendants lived in Utah and...

Hyrum Oscar Crandall, (b.1844), born in Illinois, was a direct descendant of Sir John Crandall (ca.1609-1676) who immigrated from England to Massachusetts in 1634. Hyrum came to Utah with his family in 1850 where they settled in what is now Springville. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Arizona, and elsewhere.

James Miller Sr. (1841-1943) emigrated from Scotland to Chicago before 1871. He married Karen Marie Hansen in 1876 and moved to Los Angeles in 1882-83. James Miller Jr. (1880-1918) and his family moved to Mesa, Arizona, where they became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joseph Edwin Miller (1902-1965) was a son. Descendants and relatives lived in Arizona, Utah and elsewhere.

Samuel C. Miller (1866-1926), son of Christian J. and Catherine Frey Miller, was born near Charm, Ohio. He married Sarah Raber (1868- 1953) 1886. She was the daughter of John and Sarah Miller Raber. Sarah married (2) 1927 Emanuel B. Weaver (1864-1948), son of Benjamin and Anna Berber Weaver. Families are mainly Amish and Mennonite by faith and live in Ohio, Indiana, New York and elsewhere.

Henry Eugene Miller was born in Mesa, Arizona on March 14, 1926. He married Beverly Jean Lines in 1944. She was born in Gilbert, Arizona on September 25, 1926. They lived in Mesa, Arizona.
