Robert Moncur was born in 1839 at Dundee, Scotland, the son of Robert Moncur (1815-1845) and Helen Whytock Moncur McKell (1819- 1856). He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with his mother and step father, Robert McKell, and they immigrated to the Utah in 1852. He married Frances G. Jolley (1845-1914). They had ten children, 1861-1886, born at Payson, Middleton, Harmony, and Mt. Carmel, Utah. They moved to Acequia, Idaho, in 1903....
