Gabriel Moran (ca. 1691-1731) was born in County Clare, Ireland. He probably immigrated to America, ca. 1711. He married Elizabeth Villett (1691-1767) in Maryland, between 1711-1714. They had at least four sons. Descendants lived in Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, and elsewhere.
