Thomas Lincoln (ca.1603-1683/1684) immigrated from England to Hingham, Massachusetts in 1635, and moved before 1650 to Taunton, Massachusetts. Stephen Lincoln (1751-1840), a direct descendant in the sixth generation, served in the Revolutionary War, married Lydia Foster, and lived in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri and elsewhere.

Alexander Resseguie (d.1752) settled at Norwalk, Connecticut in 1709. "Tradition has it that he was the younger son of Alexandre Resseguie, a Huguenot refugee from France ..." Descendants lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and elsewhere.

Description
George Felt was born in 1601 and emigrated from England between 1629 and 1633 to Charlestown, Massachusetts. He married Elizabeth Wilkinson and moved to Casco Bay, Maine, in 1643. They moved to Malden, Massachusetts, in 1680 and he died in 1793, aged 92 years.

Daniel Bontecou (1779-1857), a direct descendant in the sixth generation, moved from New Haven, Connecticut to Springfield, Massachusetts and married twice. Lydia Foster (1760-1839), the daughter of Ebenezer Foster (1733-1811), a Revolutionary War soldier, and Hannah Parlin Foster (1743-1808), was probably born at Oakham, Massachusetts. She married Stephen Lincoln (1751-1840), a Revolutionary War soldier, in 1779. He was born at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, the son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Robinson Lincoln. Stephen and Lydia Foster Lincoln both died at Oakham, Massachusetts.
