George Mount was born in about 1626 in Boughton Aluph, Kent, England. He married Katherine in about 1662 in Providence, Rhode Island. They had three children. Descendants and relatives lived in Rhode Island, New Jersey, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.
