Description
The Railton Parish was also known as the Loughborough Mission. When the Mission was established in 1844, it included parishioners in the townships of Loughborough, Portland, Sheffield, Camden and Ernestown, and the communities of Mill Creek (became Odessa in 1855), the Isle of Tanty (now Amherst Island) and Missouri. Railton is in the township of Loughborough.

Description
Cataraqui was earlier known as Waterloo.
Burials in Cataraqui Cemetery began in 1853. Some death dates are earlier than 1853. Also, some graves were moved to Cataraqui Cemetery from an older cemetery known as the Upper Burial Ground (now McBurney Park) and other cemeteries between 1854 and 1892.
