Descendants of Sir Hugo Page, who lived in Ebor, Yorkshire, England, in 1257; and later in or near London, England. His great grandson, John Page, of Wembley, Middlesex, received a large amont of land from King Henry VIII in 1536. He died in 1543 and his estate was divied between his two sons. Thomas Page was living at Lunenburg, Massachusetts, in 1755, when he was admitted to full communion in the Lunenberg Congregational Church. He was perhaps the son of Samuel Page (1672-1747?) of Lunenburg, and a descendant of Sir Hugh Page, who lived at Ebor, Yorkshire, England, in 1257. Sir Richard Page, son of John Page, was given the properties which had belonged to the Knights of St. John in Kilburn, ca. 1540 at the time of the suppression of the Roman Catholic monateries. He also became possessor of the large Wembley estate in 1543.
