This book deals with the descendants of Daniel Parker (ca.1801-1868), his half-brother, John Parker (1810-1862 ), and their first cousin, Edward Parker (1805/1810-ca.1883). John Trace (1805-1895) married Jane Matthews in the 1820s, and in 1862 the family immigrated from England to Port Hope, Ontario, later moving to Laxton Township, Victoria County, Ontario. Albert George Parker Sr. (1863-1937) was born in Oswego, New York, the first son of Canadian immigrants Thomas Parker and Frances Hannah Fenner. He married Jessie Bewley in 1890, and as a Presbyterian minister educated at Princeton, served in Wisconsin, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Illinois and elsewhere. Includes portions from his journals.
