Ralph E. Pearson

Peter Pearson (1679-1735) was the son of Christopher Pearson (1645- 1711) and Eleanor Fearson (d.1714) of Ullock, Dean Parish, Cumberland, England. He married Rachel Newby (1690-1750) in 1709/ 1710 in Isle of Wight County, VA. His parents belonged to the Quaker faith and he also was a member. He settled in Perquimanns County, NC. Several branches of this family relocated to the midwest in later years. Several generations of descendants are given.

Richard Scarritt purchased land from Adam and Mary Rayner in Branford, Connecticut on March 30, 1718 or 1719. Descendants lived in Connecticut, New York, and elsewhere.

Thomas Macy (1608-1682) immigrated during or before 1639 from England to Newbury, Massachusetts, and later moved to Salisbury, Massachusetts. He married Sarah Hopcott, and they moved to Nantucket, Massachusetts in 1659. Descendants lived in New England, New York, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Indiana and elsewhere.

John Pearson (ca. 1690-1760) was born in Windsor, England. He married Mary Raiford after coming to America. They lived in Fairfield District, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, California and elsewhere.

William Fee lived in Northern Ireland where he married Elizabeth Dawson in 1749. Their son Robert Fee (1750-1841) was born in County Atrim, Northern Ireland and married three times. He immigrated to the United States in 1791 and settled in Chester County, South Carolina. About 1830 he moved to Bloomington, Indiana. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas and elsewhere.

Richmond Pearson, Sr. (1750-1819) married twice and lived near Cooleemee, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.

Genealogy of two brothers, Jeremiah (ca. 1735-1820) and Sullivan Pearson (1735-1797). Jeremiah Pearson died in Jones Co., Ga. He was listed in Onslow Co. Regt. for Revolutionary War along with Sullivan Pearson. He was married to Mary E. Williams in Jones Co., Ga. He lived in various places in South Carolina, and was probably born in North Carolina. Sullivan Pearson was married to Elizabeth Williams. He died in Rockingham Co., N.C.

William Robbins was born in 1783 in England, and immigrated to Dayton, Ohio in 1817. He married twice, and died near Pleasant Hill, Ohio in 1847.
