Chiefly a record of the descendants and some ancestors of Richard Ratcliff who was born ca. 1614 in Whalley Parish, Lancashire, England, and died 7 November 1675. He married Alice Rawsthorne, daughter of Nicholas and Mary Rawsthorne, ca. 1640. Richard and Alice were early members of the heavily persecuted Society of Friends church.
