August Tisch was born in about 1840 in Central Poland or Russia. He married Wilhelmina Yachman in about 1860. They had eight children. Their son, August (b. 1862) married Rosalia Ziebart (1868-1951). They had six children. August, Jr. died between 1902 and 1905. His family emigrated in 1907 and settled in Kansas. Another branch of the family settled in Canada. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kansas, California, Washington, Nova Scotia, Ontario...
