Abraham Lewis (1752-1838), a Revolutionary War soldier, was born at Westerly, Rhode Island, the son of Abraham Lewis (b. 1724), the grandson of Joseph Lewis (1683-1761) and the great grandson of John Lewis (d. 1735). He and his first wife, Thankful Lewis, his cousin, had nine children, 1776-1792. Thankful died in 1792. He and his second wife, Eunice Hearn, had nine children, 1794-1810. Thankful, Eunice and Abraham Lewis are all buried in a cemetery...

John Guldner was born 31 December 1825 in Bavaria. His parents were Johannes Guldner and Susan Baker. He emigrated in 1849 and settled in Erie, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Frey (1829-1892) in 1851. He died in 1907 in Rice County, Kansas. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kansas and Iowa. Includes Schupp and related families.

John Frank Leslie was born 28 August 1860 in Clark County, Missouri. His parents were Alexander Leslie and Elizabeth Carman Butts. He married Mary Agnes Geist (1865-1915), daughter of William Geist and Mary Snyder, 14 May 1882 in Sterling, Kansas. They had six children. Frank died in 1943 in Sterling. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania and Kansas.

Johannes Zimerman and his wife, Emma (Anna) Schneider, Mennonites, had seven children, ca. 1818-1838, born in Baden and Alsace-Lorraine, Germany. The oldest son remained in Germany, but his son and the seven other children immigrated to the United States, ca. 1849, and settled first in Indiana. Isaac Zimmerman (1838-1903), the youngest of five children, immigrated with his parents from Germany to land near Berne, Indiana in 1849. Others of his brothers and sisters followed. Descendants and relatives lived in Indiana, Illinois, Kansas and elsewhere.
