Moroni Duncan was born in Scotland in 1850. His parents were converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and came to Utah when he was about 16. THey settled first in northern Utah and after his marriage to Jane Owens Wardrop in 1875 the family moved to Wyoming. They had six children before Moroni died in a blizzard in the spring of 1894. Biographical information on this man is included in this volume by one of his great granddaughters....

Robert Campbell Wardrop, son of James Lyle Wardrop and Catharine Henderson Campbell, was born in 1828 in Stewarton, Ayrshire, Scotland. He emigrated in 1849. He married Margaret Owens (1829-1913) in 1851 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had eleven children. He married Mary Reese Morris (1821-1888) in 1854. They had six children. He died in 1888 in Wellsville, Utah.

Margaret Holmes, daughter of Henry John Holmes and Sarah Jane Godfrey, was born in 1898 in North Ogden, Utah. She married Henry Duncan Weaver, son of Riley Weaver and Maggie Duncan, in 1926 in Cardston, Alberta. She died in 1965 in Granger, Utah.

Sarah Ann Price was born in 1842 to Jeremiah and Jane Morgan Price in Rhymney, Glamorganshire, Wales. She married Joseph Godfrey in 1857 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Margaret Jane Weaver was born 22 October 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were Henry Duncan Weaver (1896-1955) and Margaret Holmes (1898-1965). She married Allen Sharp Toronto 28 June 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had four children. She died 25 January 1987 in Midway, Utah.

Matilda McCoy, daughter of Alexander McCoy and Elizabeth Hawkins, was born in 1809 n West Virginia. She married John Mercer in 1830 in Ohio. Their daughter, Ruth Maria Mercer, married Robert Miller in 1862. They had four children.

Jane Owens Wardrop, daughter of of Robert Campbell Wardrop and Margaret Evans Owens, was born in 1859 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Moroni P. Duncan (d. 1894) in 1875. They had six children. She married James Jones Collett in 1896. They had four children. She died in 1951 in Raymond, Alberta.
